Test & Trace Support Payment Scheme: Updated
You might be able to get a payment of £500 if you’re on a low income, been told to self-isolate because of coronavirus (COVID-19) and you cannot work from home.
You must be employed or self-employed to get the payment.
The Government’s Test & Trace Support Payment Scheme guidance was updated on 22 March to reflect the following:
You can now claim for up to 42 days after the first day of your self-isolation period.
The scheme has been extended to parents and guardians who need to take time off work to care for a child who is self-isolating.
Check the guidance for the full criteria for eligibility.
